Dr Miranda Min Qian has more than 30 years of clinical experience in Chinese medicine. After graduating from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine with a Masters degree in Gynaecology of Chinese Traditional Medicine, she worked in a Beijing hospital for several years before undertaking further gynaecological study at University Düsseldorf, Germany.

Dr Miranda began her own clinical practice in 1992, spending 10 years in South Africa before immigrating to Australia. In 2002, she opened Health by Chinese Medicine in Brighton East. She was also a sessional lecturer in Chinese Medicine at Victoria University. 

Dr Miranda's work philosophy combines the ancient art of tongue and pulse diagnosis with western medicine knowledge to understand physiology and pathology, and diagnose and explain disorders.

 

Her practice uses a combination of therapies guided by the patient's condition, including Chinese Herbs specially blended for the patient and acupuncture or cupping.
